It is easier to ask for forgiveness, then it is to ask for permission.

The way I see it, the Honour of the Crown was lost a long time ago, and I do not see how it can be sufficiently redeemed.

there you are wrong my friend, you are missing the point of the term 'reconciliation'. We are not the ones who came and fenced off the hunting grounds in exchange for polio infected blankets. We are the ones who can make a difference and if we don't think we can, we never will. The honour of the crown is in our hands now.

I'm just in so much despair right now. I have no faith in our systems. And hardly any faith in people. Powerful people.

But I guess we can never fully restore what was taken away. We'll just have to live with the loss, learn to be honest and rebuild new things. I hope.
