Joshie has always said that I come from a different culture, that my parents aren't typically Singaporean and that they are, and this is my opinion too, a little odd.
This confirms it. They've decided to take Daniel out of school for a week so that we can to go to Tibet as a family. I can see the look on his pricipal's face as she scours the letter my parents will be sending.
"Tibet? You're skipping school to go to... TIBET?! Boy, are you making this up??!"
My brother would then give his shocked deer-in-headlights look before dissolving into laughter:
"If I were trying to skip school for a week, would I say that I would be going to TIBET?"
What would the school do?
What can they do?
Aye, my brother is not an academic, and he's not about to let anyone tell him otherwise.
Thank god for supportive parents
Tibet it is.
